Accessibility features and inclusive design in the dashboards

We understand that not everyone is blessed with the extra-special senses of Superman, and are working hard to insure that our dashboards accommodate as many users as possible.  It's an ongoing process, so we'll update our features here as they get added.

Support for users with color blindness

To support users with various types of color blindness, we do not rely on color alone to communicate key information.  Directional changes in metrics (e.g., increases and decreases) are represented by both color and shape—such as upward or downward arrows—ensuring clarity regardless of color perception.  We also use both color and shape on Pricing Insights to represent the status of the listings on the scatter plot.

Dark Mode

While we don't natively have a dark mode switch, we're starting work to make the dashboards more compatible with dark mode.  Many of our dashboards are compatible right now, but they aren't necessarily "pretty".  BUt if you're really a fan or need to use a dark mode, give it a shot and let us know where we can do better.  There are several browser extensions, like Dark Reader for Chrome, which you can use to switch all the sites you use to dark mode.  Try it out!

Support for screen-readers

Starting in mid-2025, we finally have the ability to make our dashboards compatible with screen readers by adding ARIA roles and labels to dashboard objects.  It's a long and arduous process, but we're hoping to have it completed by the end of the year.
