Data drill-through isn't working

Data drill-through isn't working

One of the most popular features of our dashboards is the ability to drill into the underlying MLS listing data.   If you've already reviewed the FAQ on how to do this, and are still having problems, here are some additional tips for troubleshooting.
  1. Make sure you're using a dashboard where drill-through is enabled.  Generally speaking, any dashboard that's posted on a website where non-MLS members have access to it is considered "public", and does not have drill-through enabled.
  2. Your mouse must be positioned on a data point.  This can be a metric (number), a column on a chart, or a point value on a line chart.  It will not work on the comparison percentage.
  3. It requires a quick double-click of your mouse.  Not clicking fast enough is most often the cause of trouble.
  4. If you get to the pop-up box and it's empty, it could be that you just need to wait a few moments for it to completely load.  This can happen if you're trying to view a large dataset.
  5. If you've waited and it still doesn't load, you may need to clear your browser cache, although sometimes just closing and re-opening your browser will work.
  6. Trying an alternate browser may also work.  At the very least, using a different browser can show whether the issue is on the client computer side (you, the user), or the server side (Domus).
